Rebrand scope

  • Consolidated 30+ sub-brands into a cohesive brand

  • Constructed a centralized design system to support unification and allow for rapid growth

  • Built and launched a new, content heavy website designed to expand rapidly via a modular structure. 

  • Provided brand assets, sales materials, and templates, to all areas of the company 

Logo and marks

The “X” is used as a symbol of intersection and revolution while the blue dot at its center becomes a key focal, sometimes personified, element.

Illustration

Due to the wide range and abstract nature of topics Data Axle needed to visualize, illustration allowed for a better 1:1 way to address subject matters.

The style was chosen to allow for both mass production and also to show precision with an element of approachability. The latter was very important due to the natural impersonality of many data-related topics. 

Website

With the consolidation of all the different verticals of the company, the website needed to allow each business unit to continue to express its message clearly and effectively.  

To achieve this, a modular structure was designed to allow the Marketing team to build and edit pages in real-time.

Animation

A natural extension of the illustration style was to give them life and movement to provide additional visual interest and to become the basis for motion graphics based videos and promotional material.

Sales Assets

Providing a high quality, broad, and above all usable library of assets for the sales teams was essential for bringing together the various regions of the company into a singlular direction. This also improved quality and speed due to the new ability to more seamlessly share assets during project handoff between teams.
